This standard applies to the dimensions of hospital, laboratory, storemen and general purpose smocks for wear by men.

Size dimensions cover 5 cm frequency chest girth sizing. An abbreviated range (small, medium, large) is also indicated.

A maximum residual garment shrinkage of 2% has been recognized in specifying the dimensions.
